The symposium offers an exchange platform on the topic of networks, neighbourhoods and negotiations for reconstruction. A central role in reconstruction is played by people, initiatives and organisations, some of which are involved in reconstruction on a daily basis. We want to talk about the framework and fields of action of participation and engagement, talk about sustainable and resource-saving approaches, build networks and enable synergies.

 

 

The Symposium "Common ReConstructing" is part of a joint project of TU Dortmund together with HS Wismar, called "Common(Re)Constructor" which is  sponsored by Sto-Stiftung.

Online Participation

It is also possible to take part in our symposium: The Key Lectures will be streamed via Zoom following the link below. Additionally, there will be one online-roundtable hosted by Alizar Mamedov of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. The online roundtable will be accessible via the same zoom-link in a breakout-room.

Additionally, our cooperating university HS Wismar will hold a summerschool "Work in Progress" at Gleishalle im Oberhafen between 19th and 24th June 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Asko Fromm Dipl.-Ing. Daniel Hülseweg. As part of the summerschool students of HS Wismar will develop an exemplary design for a mobile assembly room to collaboratively negotiate the reconstruction of neighbourhoods in Ukraine. The pavillons will be part of the symposium. The final presentation of the summerschool will be held on 24th June 2023 at 10 pm. at Gleishalle im Oberhafen.
